Cascom Ltd is a technology design and research consultancy based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Our client list includes individuals right through to major organisations and govenrment. We have helped clients improve existing products, build prototypes and given expert confidential advice on the feasibility and potential of new technologies. Our main strengths are the combined knoledge of our multi disiplinary team, our keen attitude towards new research and our 'outside the box' problem solving skills. Our team
Cassim Ladha (PhD MEng MIET)
Cassim holds position as company director. He has had experience working for the Ministry of Defence, BAE systems as well as holding a PhD in Electrical Electronic and Computer Engineering. Cassim's area of expertise lies in wireless embedded computing and control. In his spare time Cassim is an active mountaineer and outdoor enthusiast.
Karim Ladha (PhD BEng)
From an early age Karim has excelled in Physics and Science; at the age of 16 he competed internationally at the Physics Olympiad in Turkey. Karim currently holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University and has a diverse background in electrical, digital and mechanical systems. In his spare time Karim enjoys fishing and boating.
Wayne Smith (BSc)
Wayne graduated in 2007 from Newcastle University. Wayne currently holds the position of software developer within the company. Outside of work Wayne enjoys rock climbing and playing squash.
